Pro-Bono Engineering
Our engineers contribute architecture, DevOps, and application development hours to TechStart For Kids at no cost — keeping classrooms online, secure, and ready for the next cohort of students.
We bridge corporate sustainability with community technology equity. Sanitizing enterprise hardware to power youth AI programs and protect seniors from digital fraud.
Kline IT Solutions places its enterprise engineering, hosting, and hardware logistics behind TechStart For Kids — a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 93-1815159) delivering hands-on AI literacy, prompt engineering, and digital skills to underserved youth ages 8–16. Every engagement routed through this hub directly strengthens that mission — and the same team powers our grant-funded Senior Digital Literacy & Cyber-Fraud Defense initiative for older adults.
TechStart For Kids (techstartforkids.org) — pro-bono engineering, donated web hosting, and refurbished corporate equipment from this hub power their hands-on AI learning labs for students ages 8–16.
Our engineers contribute architecture, DevOps, and application development hours to TechStart For Kids at no cost — keeping classrooms online, secure, and ready for the next cohort of students.
The nonprofit's website, learning platforms, and data run on infrastructure we provision, monitor, and maintain — enterprise-grade reliability without an enterprise price tag.
Retired corporate devices are sanitized to NIST 800-88, refurbished by our team, and deployed as AI workstations for students — giving secure enterprise hardware a second life.
The same standards we apply to enterprise clients — audited sanitization, monitored hosting, disciplined logistics — are applied to every dollar, hour, and device routed to our non-profit partner. That's what makes this a true CSR ecosystem rather than a one-off donation.
Businesses that retire equipment with us close their data-risk gap and put working technology in front of students who need it most.
Retiring corporate equipment should never mean leaving data behind. Every asset we receive moves through a documented, three-stage pipeline aligned with NIST SP 800-88, Guidelines for Media Sanitization — the federal standard for making data unrecoverable.
Every retirement begins with a signed chain-of-custody manifest. We arrange monitored pickup or witnessed drop-off, seal and track each asset from your dock to our sanitized facility — nothing is left unaccounted for.
Drives receive certified multi-pass sanitization, with verification passes and per-asset destruction logging. You receive a Certificate of Destruction for every storage device — your audit trail, closed.
Cleared hardware is refurbished and deployed to youth AI learning labs at TechStart For Kids. Equipment past its useful life is routed to eco-certified recycling — zero landfill, full documentation.
Your compliance, covered: chain-of-custody manifests, multi-pass wipe verification, and Certificates of Destruction are issued for every storage device we receive — supporting HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and internal data-retention audits.
Retired laptops, desktops, and network gear from your organization become the workstations powering AI literacy labs for students ages 8–16. We handle the security, logistics, and paperwork — you keep the compliance records and the tax receipt.
Tax note: donated equipment is processed under our non-profit partner TechStart For Kids, a registered 501(c)(3) (EIN: 93-1815159). Donation acknowledgments are issued by TechStart For Kids and are generally tax-deductible — consult your tax advisor for eligibility.
Older adults are the fastest-growing target of digital fraud — and the least likely to have IT support on call. This grant-funded initiative brings Kline IT Solutions' enterprise security discipline directly into senior centers, retirement communities, and assisted living facilities — at no cost to residents.
Interactive workshops teaching seniors how to spot phishing emails, fake bank alerts, and AI voice-cloning scams — with hands-on practice reporting, blocking, and locking down accounts before fraud lands.
One-on-one tech support and digital literacy guidance for older adults — helping residents set up devices, connect to family via video calls, and access online health portals safely and securely.
Refurbished tablets and adaptive hardware — voice control, screen enlargement, and simplified launchers — sanitized, configured, and deployed directly to senior centers for everyday use.
We partner with senior centers, retirement communities, and assisted living facilities to schedule workshops, set up telehealth corners, and deploy accessible devices — grant-funded, never at cost to residents.
Open a B2B & CSR partnership conversation, submit corporate hardware for secure retirement, or request a senior workshop — pick the inquiry type in the form. Routes directly to Customer Support — we respond within 2 business days.
